QUICK FACTS · EMAIL & SMS MARKETING

At a glance.

The whole engagement on one ticket. Read it in a minute, then bring us the hard questions on the call.

What it is
Owned-audience marketing for contractors: email and SMS to the people already in your world, past customers, quoted-but-not-closed leads, and opt-in subscribers, built into sequences that follow up quotes, revive old jobs, and book repeat work.
Timeline
First sequences (quote follow-up and a reactivation blast to your dead list) can be live in 2 to 4 weeks once your list is cleaned and the sending platform is warmed. Repeat and referral flows layer in after.
Investment
Quoted at the strategy call after we see your list size, your trade's buying cycle, and whether you need email, SMS, or both. Platform fees are separate and paid to the ESP or texting provider, not marked up.
What you get
A cleaned and de-duped list, quote and estimate follow-up sequences, a dead-customer reactivation campaign, seasonal and maintenance reminders, review-request and referral texts, and deliverability set up so you land in the inbox, not spam.
What's not included
Getting found by strangers on Google (SEO), the Maps 3-pack (Local SEO), and paid clicks that buy new leads all live in other silos. If the person isn't already in your list, that's an acquisition job.
Managed how
In-house, in Orlando, on an email and texting account you own and can log into. Your list, your subscribers, your data stay with you if we ever part ways.
Who it's for
Established contractors sitting on a customer list going stale, owners who quote plenty but never follow up, and trades with a real repeat and seasonal cycle: HVAC, plumbing, roofing, landscaping.
Who it's not for
Brand-new outfits with no list yet, and anyone hoping to blast a bought list of strangers. That's spam, it's illegal by text, and it gets your number flagged. We won't build it.

OWNED AUDIENCE

Email marketing for contractors, run against the list you paid to build

Most contractors don't have a lead problem. They have a follow-up problem. You quote the job, the homeowner says they'll think about it, and then nothing. That estimate sits in your inbox while they call two more companies. Email marketing for contractors is how you keep chasing that quote without picking up the phone eleven times: a short sequence that nudges the unsigned estimate, answers the objection, and lands you the job you already did the work to win.

Then there's the list you forgot you had. Every past customer, every homeowner who called once, every name on a job ticket from three years ago. That list is worth more than any cold lead, because those people already paid you and trusted you. A tune-up reminder before the season, a text when the maintenance plan is due, a simple 'we're in your neighborhood next week' note: that's repeat revenue from names you already own. Most owners let it rot in a spreadsheet.

Generic agencies bolt email onto a bloated all-in-one dashboard and blast one template to every trade. We build the sequence to your trade's real buying cycle, seasonal tune-ups, storm follow-up, quote nudges, maintenance renewals, and we run SMS the compliant way so your number stays clean and your texts keep landing. Since 2008 we've marketed for local-service businesses, so we know a plumber's list behaves nothing like a roofer's.

[ 01 ] THE PROBLEM

Where the money leaks out

The leads are coming in. Here's where they die before they turn into jobs.

01

Quotes that never got a second touch

You sent the estimate and moved on. No follow-up, so the homeowner who was on the fence signed with whoever called them back.

02

A customer list going stale

Hundreds of past customers sit in a spreadsheet or your CRM, never contacted again. Repeat and referral revenue you already earned, left on the table.

03

No engine for the second job

You did great work once. But nothing reminds them you exist when the next tune-up, repair, or season comes around, so they Google a stranger instead.

04

Texting that gets you flagged

Blasting your customer list from your cell, or a bought list from a cheap tool, gets numbers flagged as spam. One wrong move and your texts stop delivering.

[ 02 ] THE METHOD

What we actually build

Every sequence is wired to your trade's buying cycle, not a stock template.

A

Quote follow-up sequences

The estimate goes out, then a timed set of emails and texts nudges the unsigned quote, handles the price objection, and asks for the job before the lead goes cold.

B

Dead-list reactivation

We clean your old customer list and send a reactivation campaign that pulls forgotten past customers back into booked work, often the fastest revenue on the whole engagement.

C

Seasonal and maintenance reminders

Tune-up notices before summer and winter, filter and service reminders, maintenance-plan renewals: automated to fire on your trade's calendar, not ours.

D

TCPA-safe SMS

Texting set up the compliant way with real opt-in, quiet hours, and easy opt-out, on a provider that keeps your number from getting flagged as spam.

E

Review and referral asks

A review-request text goes out at the right moment after a job, and a referral ask follows, turning one happy customer into ratings and the next lead.

F

Deliverability setup

SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configured, list hygiene enforced, and sending warmed so your email lands in the inbox instead of the spam folder.

[ 03 ] THE DIFFERENCE

Built for your trade, not a template blast

  • SMS run TCPA-safe so your number stays clean
  • You own the list, the platform, and the subscribers
the all-in-one dashboard

One template blasted to everyone

  • Same generic newsletter sent to every trade
  • SMS bolted on with no compliance guardrails
  • Your list locked in their tool, gone when you cancel

03

[ 06 ] THE HONEST CURVE

[ 07 ] STRAIGHT ANSWERS

What contractors ask us most.

The questions owners ask before they hand us their customer list.

01Is email marketing worth it if I already get enough leads?

That's exactly when it pays off most. If leads are coming in but you're not following up on quotes or staying in touch with past customers, you're leaking jobs you already paid to earn. Email and SMS close the quotes you've already sent and pull repeat work from names you already have, which is the cheapest revenue in your whole marketing budget.

02Can I just text my customers from my cell phone?

You shouldn't, and eventually you can't. Blasting a list from a personal number gets it flagged as spam by the carriers, and texting people without proper opt-in violates the TCPA, which carries real per-message penalties. We set up SMS on a compliant platform with opt-in, quiet hours, and opt-out handled, so your texts keep delivering and you stay out of trouble.

03I have an old list of past customers. Is it too late to email them?

Usually not, if they're truly your past customers who did business with you. We clean the list, remove dead and risky addresses, and send a careful reactivation campaign rather than a blind blast, which protects your sender reputation. Old customers who already trusted you are the fastest jobs on the board, and most contractors are sitting on a list they've never touched.

04What's the difference between email marketing and SEO or ads?

SEO and ads go get you strangers who've never heard of you. Email and SMS work the people already in your list: past customers, and leads you quoted but didn't close. If someone already handed you their contact info, they belong here. If you're still trying to reach a stranger, that's an acquisition job and lives in a different silo. Most contractors need both, but the owned list is the one they're neglecting.

05Can you buy me a list of homeowners to email or text?

No. Purchased lists are spam, they're illegal to text under the TCPA, and they torch your sender reputation and your phone number's standing with the carriers. We only market to people who opted in or already did business with you. If you need new strangers, that's SEO or paid ads, not a bought list.

06Do I own the list and the account, or do you?

You do. Your list, your subscribers, and your sending account are all in your name, and you keep the login. If we ever part ways, everything stays with you. We won't lock your customer list inside our tool the way an all-in-one dashboard does.

07How do you keep my emails out of the spam folder?

Deliverability is a craft, not a checkbox. We set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, warm the sending domain, enforce list hygiene so you're not mailing dead addresses, and keep the content and frequency in a range the inbox providers trust. Good deliverability is the whole game, because an email in the spam folder never books a job.

08Will you write the emails and texts, or do I have to?

We write them, in your trade's language, and build the automations so they send themselves. You also get reusable templates your office can send on its own for one-off announcements. You review and approve the sequences before anything goes to your customers.
